Rakhat Zholdoshalieva

Rakhat Zholdoshalieva is the team leader of the Quality Learning Ecosystems Programme programme at the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) in Hamburg, Germany. Rakhat holds a doctorate in education from the University of Toronto, Canada. She specializes in education policy and planning, teacher training, curriculum design, rural education, and adult learning. Before joining UIL, she had over ten years of experience working in countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Canada, and Kyrgyzstan.
