As the US Congress now has the responsibility of extending or terminating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, we were proud to see Sadhana Singh, a senior at Trinity Washington University in the District of Columbia, featured in the Washington Post. She is one of many students who have been able to continue their university education in the United States through DACA. Sadhana was also one of MMEG’s first grantees in the partnership program with Trinity!
Sadhana shared her story and commitment in her studies to give voice to underprivileged and struggling people as an investigative journalist. See "Welcome Trinity"
Beyond the partnership with Trinity, MMEG provides education grants to women from developing countries who are studying in the US or Canada, and who intend to return to their home countries to work on improving the lives of women and children. MMEG also has partnership programs with select universities in South Africa and in Latin America. Do visit our website for more details.
